This breathtaking Fantasie Tweed by French mill Jules Tournier is the flagship moment of the entire season.Inspired by the aprons worn by the market women in Central America, Angelo remarks that as a child they looked like colourful piñatas to him. This specific textile milled in Mazamet, France, is an homage to Angelo’s grandmother.The family matriarch.Whose often tough persona was starkly contrasted by her choice of ornate aprons. The incredible texture and depth is achieved by milling a pink-based tweed with lilac, White and mint ribbon yarn; popcorn yarn and iridescent eyelash yarn.The shirt itself is standard 4SD, That is to say there’s nothing "standard" at all. In reality though, Much like a good pasta the shirt is just a vessel to transport the real star of the show.Which in this case is not a beautiful sauce but a fine French tweed.
