The Birkholm Vest is a light insulating layer which uses Thermore® Ecodown down in combination with Pertex® Quantum fabric to create a modular insulation layer that works as a stand-alone or in combination with a Norse Projects shell.Its simple body is wind and spray-proof thanks to the Pertex® outer shell, Whilst the down filling works to retain body heat in your core areas. The chest features a zippered pocket for tech and valuables whilst there’s two hand pockets for quick-access and indeed your hands. A hidden attachment strap at the back allows you to connect this with a Norse outer shell for an extra level of functionality if the weather gets out-of-hand.Pertex® Quantum: 50% recycled textile using a tightly woven structure to provide a light and soft fabric, Allowing insulation to fully loft. Precisely constructed from incredibly fine yarns, Pertex® Quantum fabrics are designed to trap still air and improve the efficiency of insulation. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection.Thermore® Ecodown: A high performance lightweight insulation containing 100% recycled fibres from PET bottles. Each jacket made with Ecodown® uses up-to 10 PET plastic bottles. This lightweight, High performance fabric is durable and easy to care for. The synthetic nature means it can be used with any face fabric when compared with feather downs.
